NOTICE: We will be extending the temporary closure of new client intake for our primary health care clinics at our Downtown and Shelldale locations until January 2026.
As shared in our February 2025 communication, demand for primary care at our clinics remains high. Extending this pause will allow us to maintain high-quality care for our current clients while we plan for sustainable growth.
During this period, we will continue to make exceptions for:
- Uninsured community members
- Newcomers and refugees
- Community partners who identify urgent or high-risk community members
- Family reunification cases
Our New Client Intake Coordinator remains available to support these exceptions at newclientintake@guelphchc.ca or 519-821-6638 ext. 404. Inquiries will be answered within 5 to 10 business days.
