We provide specialized health care and wraparound supports in a safe and welcoming space. The Hive Health Services team provides compassionate care, with a focus on dignity and respect.
Our clinic serves clients in the regions of Guelph-Wellington, Waterloo, Cambridge, Kitchener, Grey, Bruce, and Dufferin.
HIV health care and wraparound supports:
- HIV/AIDS treatment and management
- PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) services
- Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) testing and counselling (for our clients only)
- Dietitian and nutritional counselling
- Social worker access for mental health counselling
- Health and social service system navigation support, service connection and engagement
- Connection with peer support programming in the community
HIV care referral form for providers
Gender-affirming care and wraparound supports (18+):
- Initiation and monitoring of hormone replacement therapy
- Surgical planning, including first and second assessments, funding applications, and referrals to surgical sites
- Post-operative care
- Support in exploring gender identity and expression
- Supporting and engaging people in their health care and basic needs (service connection and engagement)
- Dietitian and nutritional counselling
- Social worker access for mental health counselling
- Health and social service system navigation support, as well as service connection and engagement
- Connection with peer support programming in the community
