Cultural Interpretation

We have over 80 trained interpreters to help our clients communicate with health care providers and community health workers. Thirty-two languages and dialects are represented in our Cultural Interpretation Program.

Interpreters are booked ahead of time so if you would like to have an interpreter with you at an appointment, please let us know when you make your appointment. If you are unable to come to the health centre, our interpreters can come with service providers for home visits.

We provide training for community members to become cultural interpreters. Our training sessions are offered once a year.
