Health CareOur health care services are provided by a variety of health professionals who work together with community agencies to provide access to programs and services in response to client and community needs. Our health care services include: Breastfeeding Services - breastfeeding mothers who may have questions or concerns about breastfeeding can speak with our lactation consultant. Clinical Services - our registered clients visit our health clinic to have their health issues assessed, diagnosed and managed by a variety of health professionals. Foot Care - we offer foot care to our clients who have been referred to us by their health care provider and who do not have the resources to access foot care in the community. Nutrition Services - we offer nutrition counselling services as well as group programs to help people learn more about nutrition. Outreach Services - our health care providers visit a variety of community agencies in Guelph to offer health care and support to people who may find it hard to access health programs and services. Social Work Services - our social workers offer counselling services as well as group work for people coping with a variety of emotional challenges. We are committed to working with and meeting the needs of families with young children as well as people who may find it hard to access health care. We are particularly focused on assisting people who are new to Canada or who face challenges such as low income, unemployment, isolation, homelessness and physical or mental disabilities. Our programs and services are made available through funding received from the provincial government and our community partnerships as well as through donations directed to our health centre Interpretation services are available on request.
